K300 field at 13 and rising

Lance Mackey of Fairbanks signed up for the 2010 Kuskokwim 300.

He plans on bringing a second team although it's unknown who that musher will be, according to the K300 Race Committee.

The committee also received word that three other mushers plan to sign up.

They are Quinn Iten of Kotzebue, Dee Dee Jonrowe of Willow, and Richie Diehl of Aniak. If these additional mushers all sign up, the K300 will have a field of 16 mushers.

Thirteen mushers are officially signed up. In order of sign up they are:

Ramey Smyth, 34, Willow

Jeff King, 53, Denali Park

Dallas Seavey, 22, Willow

Mitch Seavey, 50, Sterling

Jackie Larson, 39, Napaskiak

Pete Kaiser, 22, Bethel

Mike Williams, Jr, 25, Akiak

Mike Willliams, Sr., 57, Akiak

Ronald Nathan Underwood Sr., 49, Aniak

Paul F. Gebhardt, 53, Kasilof

John Baker, 47, Kotzebue

Lance Mackey, 39, Fairbanks (two teams)
