Iditarod raffle tickets on sale at GCI BethelPublished on March 5th, 2010 By ALASKA NEWSPAPERS STAFF The Iditarod Trail Committee and GCI announced in a written statement that 2010 Iditarod raffle tickets are on sale now at GCI locations statewide, including in Bethel. The sale will run from March 5 to April 11. The tickets sell for $100 and proceeds benefit the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race, which begins Saturday. Iditarod officials say that only 4,000 tickets will be sold and each ticket has a chance at winning one of four 2010 Dodge Ram pickup trucks, or one of 16 other prizes, the statement said. Tickets will be available at a number of GCI locations until the prize drawing at the Great Alaska Sportsman Show in Anchorage on April 11. Tickets are also available by calling (800) 545-MUSH, the statement said. Contact us about this article at editor@thetundradrums.com |
