Young woman found deadPublished on March 8th, 2010 By ALEX DEMARBAN Bethel police are investigating the death of a young woman discovered Sunday night. Vanessa Olrun, 21, was found dead on the floor of the arctic entryway of a house on Akiachak Drive, police reported in a written statement. Police received a 911 call about the body shortly after 8 p.m., the statement said. The caller reported that his girlfriend "was found frozen in the arctic entryway." Police forced open the door of the locked house and found Olrun on the floor, with no pulse. A medic responded and pronounced her dead. Alcohol appears to be a factor, police said.
