AVTEC offers free IT training
On the Y-K Delta
Qualified students can receive free Village Internet Agent training at Alaska’s Institute of Technology. The 4-month program prepares students to provide information technology support to organizations and users in rural communities. Students can learn the skills needed to install and maintain computer and broadband network technologies for rural locations. Though tuition, books and supplies are provided without charge for the program, students must provide their own housing, meals and travel.
