Man threatens
Upper Kalskag residents
Aniak troopers received a report on June 25 that 32-year-old Kevin Joseph Morgan of Upper Kalskag had threatened to shoot several residents, including a family who he chased with a shotgun. Trooper investigation revealed Morgan threatened many residents with a shotgun while intoxicated. Morgan barricaded himself in his residence and refused to come out at the direction of the troopers. At 8 a.m. the following morning troopers took Morgan into custody without incident. He was transported to Bethel and remanded without bail on assault, reckless endangerment, stalking and misconduct involving weapons charges.
