Senior center offers handcrafted items and services
Eddie Hoffman Senior Center has in stock new adult and children’s kuspuks made by authentic seniors. The center also has knitted warm adult and children’s socks, as well as, other handcrafted items. The center also offers nutrition, tranportation and other adult day services. Anyone interested in the services can call 543-3988 or stop in at the center at 127 Atsaq Street, just off of Third Row Housing in Bethel. Look for the sign.
Hooper Bay Courthouse to be dedicated
The Hooper Bay Courthouse will be dedicated at noon on Aug. 14 by the Supreme Court of the State of Alaska. The public is invited to the event at 1 Uniak Ave. A reception and openhouse will follow the dedication.
