Human, sex trafficking task force holds hearings in Bethel

The State of Alaska Task Force on the Crimes of Human Trafficking, Promoting Prostitution and Sex Trafficking will hold public hearings from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13 in city council chambers in Bethel. Hearings were heard earlier in Anchorage. The public is invited to provide their observations, concerns and recommendations on the crimes of human and sex trafficking in Alaska. The task force encourages individuals and organizations to participate in one or both of these public hearings. There will be interpretive services available at the hearing. Written testimony may be submitted at any time by e-mail to cori.badgley@alaska.gov. All written comments must be submitted on or before Dec. 20.
