Dangerous trail closed
On the Y-K Delta
After open water pushed up against the trail to Aniak, search and rescue teams closed the trail Dec. 14, according to kyuk.org. River traffic was directed to a different channel of the Kuskokwim River, until the shorter route freezes again.
